Ann Taylor / Brand Voice and Marketing
I was brought in as part of the rebrand of Ann Taylor, tasked with reimagining its brand voice and developing new content platforms. The 60-year-old brand had gotten stuck in the Sex and the City era, with Kate Hudson as their aspirational muse. But we dreamed of a brand with something to say to women of substance.
With a new brand platform built on “sister solidarity”, Ann Taylor was able to boast true omnichannel campaigns with messages intended to include, unite, and support women—while earning the brand its first ever Gifted status from L2.
Of course, it all began with a brand anthem . . .
